SUPPLY CHAIN

le 23 June 2022 - Professions

Crossroads of all the flows of the company, very customer service oriented, it represents all the stakeholders working to guarantee and optimize production. The Supply Chain offers a very rich range of jobs: Logistics Director, Planning Manager, Flow Manager, Warehouse Manager… Some of our employees tell us about their job and their experience:

Charly CHEVALIER

LOGISTICS OFFICER, ARRAS WAREHOUSE
My role in the warehouse requires versatility. When we arrive in the morning, we do not know what position we will be assigned to. We also do preparation, loading, use forklift driver… it is varied.

What I like the most in my job is the versatility, we do not see our days go by. I like to pass on my profession because it is prosperous and made to last. I have to train employees and it is going quite well. To train them, you have to listen, take time and clearly explain all the procedures that you have put in place within the company, they are a lot of them, so you take the time to train with a scorecard.

In 2021, we renewed the trolley fleet with anti-choc trolleys which relieves the back and otherwise we have all the necessary equipment.

Yasmine KHELIL

PERFORMANCE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
I intervene on different axes: contracts and general conditions of sale at first and then the axes which are linked to the transverse costs of the Supply Chain identified as being the logistics penalties and dormant stocks.

I was formerly in the legal department until last year and I had the opportunity to evolve in this position. To be completely honest, it did not seem to me that as a lawyer at CÉMOI I could have gateways to other professions, but I noticed that they exist.

This is a very recent job creation, its objective is to optimize the economic performance and profitability of the Supply Chain. I implement procedures that have visible results and impacts for the company. The concrete feedback from my actions is very stimulating.

Maxime CHAPUIS

SCHEDULER, CHAMBÉRY SITE
I manage the manufacturing programs of the 3 production and packaging workshops on the Chambéry site and I am in contact with the team managers concerning production hazards and the optimization of the programs in place. Communication with workshops is essential to create programs that optimize launches, format changes and line performance. I am therefore in charge of managing supplies of sugar, glucose, apple (basic raw material of the production of fruit paste) and liquid chocolate. Managing these needs requires day-a-day precision.

The transversal aspect of my position allows me to be in contact with all the departments and to constantly exchange with other employees. I appreciate the human relations and the exchanges within the framework of my missions and the contact management of the unexpected which energizes the working days.
